[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Adopt A Highway program is co sponsored by the Division of Highways and Department of Environmental Protection. Through the program organizations adopt a section of a highway and commit to keep it clean and litter free. The Beckley Rotary Club has adopted the section of South Kanawha Street that begins at the Presbyterian Church and ends at the Historic Black Knight. Armed with litter sticks, orange vests and the signature orange bags, Rotarians meet twice a year—at the beginning of spring and fal seasons—to do their part in keeping South Kanawha Street clean and litter free. The club has faithfully maintained this highway for over 20 years![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
